Really. Seems that Gere went a bit overboard during a charity event and planted some kisses on the cheek of the Indian actress Shilpa Shetty as he dipped her backwards. Shetty has also been isued an arrest warrant. The Washington Post reports: Judge Dinesh Gupta issued the warrants in the northwestern city of Jaipur after a local citizen filed a complaint charging that the public display of affection offended local sensibilities, the Press Trust of India news agency reported. I love the idea behind this site! About the public display of affection in India, I am surprised by how much it’s changed in the last few years–especially in the movies.
